Feasting with Ben Siman Tov
Baker and content creator, Ben Siman Tov, visited Spark headquarters and cooked up a feast to share with the Spark team. Pita cooked on the Spark pizza stone was one of the highlights!
Ben made 50 individual, mini pita breads for our party — he is a master! We learned that pita makes a great starter bread. Simply let rise, flatten into disks, and flip onto your preheated pizza stone.
Grilled Baba Ganoush
This silky, smoky dip is the ideal partner for warm, homemade pita off the grill. Ben taught us the trick is to "burn" the eggplant, keep it on the grill until the skins are shatteringly crisp and the insides are soft and almost melting. Don't forget to prick your eggplants a few times to avoid them exploding!
